4ft Beds

As mentioned in the introduction wooden beds come in a range of styles and wood types. They also come in a range of sizes from 3ft single beds to 6ft super kingsize beds.

Going against the grain, to coin a phrase, 4ft beds are also growing in popularity. A 4ft bed makes a great compromise. It is small than a traditonal-sized double bed, but larger than a typical single bed.

With the population generally getting larger, a 3ft 6 inch single bed may be too small. Rather than going the whole way to a traditional 4ft 6 inch double bed, a small double bed with a width of 4ft may be the perfect size. The 4ft bed may also serve as a small double bed when space is at a premium.
